JONNY Reid scored twice to help Bicester to a comprehensive 4-0 win at West Hampstead 3rd.

Ben Kirk and man-of-thematch Rob Blackie were also on target to help Bicester climb to third in Middlesex, Berks, Bucks & Oxon Division 1.

The visitors’ bright start was rewarded when Kirk opened the scoring with a well-placed finish following smart work from debutant Blackie and young forward Will Hartley.

Reid doubled the lead with a mis-hit reverse-stick shot, which managed to sneak through the goalkeeper.

Bicester goalkeeper Peter Bowen was called upon several times to protect the 2-0 lead before half-time.

Reid virtually guaranteed the points early in the second half, when he deflected in a shot from Kirk.

Blackie completed the scoring to seal a fourth win in five.

Bicester will be looking to extend their strong run when bottom side OMT visit the Cooper School on Saturday.
