THE success of Bicester AC’s junior athletes was reflected at the club’s annual presentation night at Launton.

Holly Griffiths-Brown collected the under 15 girls’ field performer of the season after achieving grade 2 national standard in the 300m and a club record in the high jump.

At under 13 level, Mille Cozens won the girls’ track award after achieving national grade in a variety of events.

Both Griffiths-Brown and Cozens were chosen to represent the county.

Amelia Cox was awarded girls’ under 13 field performer of the year following her national grade 4 effort in the 1500m.

Josiah Edwards-Giraud picked up the under 13 boys’ field award after setting a national grade 2 mark in the javelin and a grade 4 in the long jump.

After her 75m gold medal in the Heart of England League, Joshua Parker took the club’s under 11 track award, while long jumper Ben Groves won the field prize.

There were further awards for shot-putterJess Cherry, who set six new club records, and Connor Wilce, who achieved national graded efforts in the under 17 triple jump and and long jump.
