BICESTER dropped their first points of the season against Tring as they went down 4-3 in Middlesex, Berks, Bucks & Oxon League Division 1.
The visitors took an early lead, but Ad Drewitt levelled before half-time.
A three-goal blast early in the second half put Tring 4-1 ahead.
The hosts hit back through strikes from Dave Sutcliffe and Andy Brown, but could not draw level.
Teenager Will Hartley scored the only goal of the game as Bicester 2nd beat Phoenix and Ranelagh in Division 4.
As the visitors began to tire, the hosts piled on the pressure, but Bicester held on for victory.
In Division 9 West, Bicester 4th notched their first win of the season with a hard-fought 2-1 victory at home to Abingdon 5th.
Bicester played the first half with ten men, despite having three substitutes, due to an error.
And the visitors opened the scoring, before Jonny Winspear levelled after turning in the D and slotting home.
Despite 11 men on the pitch for the second half, Winspear secured the points with a looping shot.
