JENNIFER McBain was the leading Veteran 35 in Saturday’s Woodstock 12-mile race at Blenheim Palace.
Alchester runner McBain crossed in 1hr 19mins 52secs to finish 15th overall, while clubmate Sarah Rendell was the second Vet 35 home in 19th.
Shaun O’Gorman was the first Alchester man to cross in 1.22.17 in 16th and Ian Hunter made the top 20.
Clubmates Robert Kerr and Nigel Lambert won their age categories.
Kerr led the way in the Vet 50 standings, finishing in 41st, and Lambert was the first Vet 70 home in 95th.
