PAIGE Jorda scored a brilliant double hat-trick as Bicester Ladies 4th beat Aylesbury 4th 6-2 in a friendly.

Bicester fielded a side that featured only three players from last season, with Jorda’s six goals the obvious highlight.

Bicester 2nd began their Trysports Three Counties League Division 2 campaign with a 3-2 defeat at home to Oxford Hawks 5th.

The visitors led 2-0 at the break, but Kirsty McKenna scored twice to draw Bicester level.

Fiona Warland then saved a penalty flick for Bicester after Mollie Southam stopped the ball on the line with her head.

However, Hawks scored the winner with five minutes remaining.

Meanwhile,Bicester men’s 4th drew 4-4 with Leighton Buzzard in a friendly.

Jonny Winspear gave Bicester the lead, slipping the ball under the visiting keeper after he was unmarked.

And they doubled their advantage when Chris Birch swept home Ahmed Fahed’s cross.

The visitors quickly pulled two goals back, but just before half-time Paul Mann restored Bicester’s lead.

In the second half, the hosts began to tire and Buzzard took advantage by equalising and then making it 4-3.

But Bicester earned a draw when Jonny Winspear swept home father Pete’s through ball.
