ATHLETICS: Holly Griffiths-Brown leads the way at final round
HOLLY Griffiths-Brown starred for Bicester AC in the final round of the Oxfordshire Young Athletics League at Drayton.
Griffiths-Brown set a National Grade 4 time of 44.50secs in winning the Under 15 300m.
She also achieved Grade 4 efforts to come second in the long jump (4.63m) and third in the high jump (1.40).
In the U15 boys, Ben West clocked a Grade 4 time of 4.45.7 to win the 1500m.
Josiah Edwards-Giraud won the U13 long jump, with a new pb and Grade 4 mark of 4.26m.
There was also a club record for Holly Hunter as she finished third in the U15 girl’s javelin (23.38).
Alchester’s Richard Gould was 20th in the final race of the Motavation Series in Oxford.
