Alchester's Vincente Bayliss stormed to tenth place in the Cholsey Chase near Wallingford on Sunday.
He tackled the undulating nine-mile multi-terrain course in 1hr, 1min 1sec in the race, which was won by Abingdon’s Paul Fernandez in 53.02.87.
Matthew Shipman was 17th in 1.01.46.12, with Simon Worfolk (1.04.18.78) 17th.
Olivia Underhill was their first women home in 1.10.49.85 for 57th place.

Seven Alchester runners also completed the Silverstone Half Marathon on Sunday at the iconic motor racing circuit.
Freddie Stott had a season’s best time of 1.32.46 while Wendy Hunter led for the women in a personal best of 1.38.08.
On Sunday, Alchester women begin their defence of the Oxfordshire Athletics Association Grand Prix Road Race championship at the Banbury 15-mile race.
The 15-race series concludes in November.
