Bicester men continued their good run with a thrilling 5-4 victory against Amersham & Chalfont in Middx, Berks, Bucks & Oxon Division 1.
The hosts came from behind to make it 3-2 at half-time, thanks to two goals in a minute from Luke Smith and an effort from Stu Locke.
Amersham equalised twice in the second half, but two goals from Dave Sutcliffe saw Bicester home.
Bicester 2nd won 2-1 at Aylesbury 3rd in Division 5.
Justin Temple put Bicester ahead from James Pilgrim’s pass from five yards for his first goal of the season.
The visitors doubled the lead five minutes into the second half when a cross from Gordon Brass picked out Ben Kirk for his 17th goal of the campaign.
Although the hosts pulled one back, Bicester held firm.
Louise Walker fired a double as Bic-ester ladies 3rd strolled to a 3-0 home victory against Newbury & That-cham in Trysports Three Counties League Division 6.
Julie Giles fired them ahead, before Walker took charge with a brace, both following penalty corners.
