Rookie Twyford trainer Tim Jarvis gained his biggest success when Lady Lara (6-1) landed the Listed Dubai Duty Free Cup at Newbury.
Jarvis, who took over the reins from his father, Alan, in June, sent out the three-year-old filly to beat Jallota by half a length in the seven-furlong contest under Luke Morris.
Lady Lara, a winner on the corresponding Newbury card last year, could now run in a fillies and mares’ race at Chicago next month.
Jarvis made it two winners in as many days at the Berkshire track when Above The Rest led from pillar-to-post under William Buick to land a seven-furlong handicap on Saturday.
