EDDIE Pepperell ended his wait for a maiden win on the European Tour with a superb triumph at the Commercial Bank Qatar Masters.
The 27-year-old from Abingdon shot a 70 in the final round to finish on 18-under-par for the tournament, one shot clear of the fast-finishing Oliver Fisher.

It completed a stunning tournament for the Frilford Heath golfer, who had compiled rounds of 65, 69 and 66 to begin the final round in a share of first place.
But when joint leader Fisher dropped three shots in a row from the fourth hole, Pepperell was left clear at the top.
After opening with eight pars, the world No 154 birdied the ninth and tenth to keep the chasing pack at bay.
Pepperell was three shots clear with four holes remaining, but a bogey at the par-four 15th narrowed the gap.
He bounced straight back, though, picking up a shot at the 16th thanks to a brilliant approach shot.

The birdie turned out to be crucial, as Fisher came roaring back with three birdies in four holes.
It came after a six-under-par 66 on Saturday moved him into contention.
While there were seven birdies on the card, the highlight was his only dropped shot – at the 12th, as shown by the European Tour’s Twitter feed.
