FOOTBALL: Ardley United knocked out of Emirates FA Cup
ARDLEY United fell at the first hurdle in the Emirates FA Cup as they lost 3-1 to Baldock Town at the Playing Fields.
Billy Gillett scored the north Oxfordshire side’s only goal from the penalty spot in the extra preliminary round tie.
Ardley return to Uhlsport Hellenic League action on Saturday when they host Kidlington Reserves in Division 1 West.
Bicester Town begin their Division 1 East campaign with a short trip to south Oxfordshire to face Wallingford Town.
