Basement boys Bletchingdon suffered agony as they went down to a last-gasp 3-2 defeat at home to Adderbury Park in the Oxfordshire Senior League Premier Division on Saturday.
With the sides locked at 2-2 and the game heading into the latter stages, Bletchingdon were looking good for a welcome boost.
However, Lloyd Sabin put paid to that with a late clincher.
The hosts, who are four points adrift at the bottom, were given the ideal start when Park keeper Mark Wellstood dropped Jordan Bye’s throw-in into his own net.
But Junior Howards equalised before half-time, and Josh Bowden then put the visitors in front.
Dominic Bruno equalised, but Sabin struck at the death with a super header.
Launton Sports went down to their 13th defeat in 16 matches as they were thumped 8-2 at Riverside.
Charlie Bell did the main damage for the hosts with a hat-trick, with Liam O’Callaghan, Jermaine McSporran, Altin Duka, Tommy Hayday and Toby Webster completing the rout.
Mark Scanes and Stuart Brown were on the mark for the visitors.
Charlton United lost 3-0 at home to Kidlington Old Boys in Division 1.
Danny Jones put the visitors in front before the break, with Tom Dale and Deshawn Whiteman adding second-half goals.
