Launton Sports overcame the pain of conceding a last-minute equaliser to beat Northway on penalties in the first round of the Oxfordshire Senior League's Ben Turner Cup.
The game had ended 4-4 after extra time.
Joe Deery scored twice for Launton alongside goals from Lee Brown and Mark Scanes, while Tej Constant, Ryan Thorne, Lewis Welby and Jake Carter netted for Northway.
But it was the visitors who held their nerve best, winning 7-6 on penalties.
In the Premier Division, John Webb’s second-half hat-trick for Bletchingdon was in vain as they went down 5-3 at Adderbury Park.
Two goals from Josh Bowden and efforts from Josh Reilly, Junior Howards and Dean Fuller had given the hosts a 5-0 lead at the break.
In Division 1, Charlton United suffered a 5-0 hammering by Kidlington Old Boys.
Kristian Thomas bagged four goals, with substitute Olly Gibbs netting the fifth with his first touch on his debut.
Charlton Res were crus-hed 10-0 at home by Adderbury Park Res, who moved up to second in Division 2 as a result.
Daniel Butler, David Rose, Josh Cohenney and Mark Farrow bagged a brace each, while Charlton defender Zak Blackman also scored an unwanted brace of his own – twice putting the ball into his own net.
