Ardley United stayed five points clear at the top of the Uhlsport Hellenic League Premier Division with a 4-1 home win against Oxford City Nomads on Saturday.
The hosts went ahead in the 19th minute, when Ryan Brooks fired in Harry Brock’s cross.
Brock doubled Ardley’s advantage on the hour when his shot bounced out of Juan Martin’s grasp and into the net.
A minute later, it was 3-0 when Nomads defender Paul Alder’s wind-assisted miskicked clearance flew over Martin for an own goal.
