SEAN Rigg will not feature for Oxford United tonight after picking up a knock in the 3-1 defeat at York City on Saturday.
The winger suffered a gash on his heel early in the game to become the latest U’s player on the sidelines, although he could return in time for this weekend.
Deane Smalley is also a doubt after falling awkwardly at Bootham Crescent, while on-loan Lee Cox is ineligible to play against parent club Swindon Town.
U’s boss Chris Wilder is looking to make some changes, with Tom Craddock, James Constable and Jon-Paul Pittman poised to start, but with at least seven players ruled out his options are limited.
He said: “I just have to pick the best possible side with what we’ve got. “We haven’t got the ability to make many changes with a few players still unavailable.”
Swindon boss Paolo Di Canio will name a very different side to the one which lost 4-1 at Preston on Sunday and demands a response.
He said: “Normally when we come from a very, very bad performance without the commitment, desire and passion, then we recover and there are all the situations for us to give our best.”
