Eddie Pepperell tees off with Robert Karlsson
EDDIE Pepperell tees off today in the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship after receiving an invitation to take part.
The Abingdon golfer’s ranking is not high enough to qualify automatically, but he is one of six players added to the field.
Pepperell goes off today at 8.55am (GMT) with one of his playing partners being former Ryder Cup player Robert Karlsson from Sweden The Frilford Heath member will be hoping to fare better than at last week’s South African Open, where he missed the cut.
