Mickey Lewis is thrilled to finally have some attacking options up front as Oxford United visit Bury in Sky Bet League Two tonight.
James Constable and Deane Smalley have had little back-up over the last month, but the U’s suddenly have four experienced strikers available.
David Connolly scored on his debut last weekend and Dave Kitson also came on after recovering from an ankle injury.
Lewis said: “It’s brilliant, we have a lot of games coming up and we’re going to need them all.”
The caretaker boss is limited for choice elsewhere, though, with seven first-team players out.
Sean Rigg (calf) is the latest to suffer a problem, although he, Ryan Williams (knee) and Michael Raynes (hip) could be back by Saturday.
Bury: from Jensen, McNulty, Veseli, Mills, Jones, Miller, Grimes, Sedgwick, Tutte, Forrester, Akpa Akpro, Charles-Cook, Hinds, Burke, Procter, Soares, Platt, Obadeyi.
Oxford Utd: from Clarke, Bevans, Hunt, Mullins, Newey, Davies, Wroe, Rose, Ruffels, Smalley, Constable, Kitson, Connolly, Marsh, O’Dowda, Long, Lynn, Henly.
