A PENSIONER had her debit card stolen by two thieves during a distraction burglary on her doorstep.
Police said the 74-year-old woman had been going home from the Asda superstore in London Road, Wheatley, at around 12.30pm on Thursday when a man and woman began following her.
When she got back to her house in Keydale Road, Littleworth, the man distracted her with a map while the woman ran inside and stole a debit card.
The man is white, around 5ft 10ins with a medium build and short cropped dark hair, while the woman is also white, around 5ft 3ins and was wearing a hat that covered her hair and grey coat.
It is believed the man was older than his female accomplice and that the pair fled in a dark coloured car.
Police are urging anyone who saw the woman or the two thieves to call them on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
