YOU know breakfast is going badly when you have to call the fire brigade.
That is what happened to one unlucky cook in Fringford near Bicester today when they were making their toast.
Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service said it was called to the house in Manor Road just after midday and sent a fire engine and another vehicle to assist.
The householder was waiting outside with a key to let the firefighters in with a key, and they entered the house to find it slightly smokey.
The team used a fan to clear the smoke and then went on their way.
No one was hurt in the incident, except perhaps the toast.
