A salon in Bicester has been recognised for its commitment to sustainability with a place in the final of a national awards competition.

Edith et Moi is in the running for the Sustainable Salon of the Year award at the British Hairdressing Business Awards 2024.

The salon was noted for its commitment to sustainability, its in-salon initiatives, collaborations with product partners, and its overall positive impact.

Salon owner Tia Jacobs said: "We're thrilled to reach the finals.

"Sustainability isn't just a buzzword for us - it's a core value and a fundamental aspect of our business.

Since their inception in 1999, the awards have recognised industry leaders such as TONI&GUY, Electric Hairdressing, Lions Barber Collective, Colin McAndrew and Casey Coleman.

This year's awards will cover 17 categories including best team, outstanding customer care and salon design.
