A fire was contained by crews from Bicester this afternoon (Saturday, February 17).
A statement from Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service said crews from Bicester Fire Station were called to an "intense fire" within an industrial trailer and waste compactor.
Waste compactors are industrial machines which compress rubbish to make it more cost-efficient and environmentally-friendly to dispose of.
The fire was put out by firefighters who used ladders to get to the source of the blaze.
The statement said: "Firefighter Logan was working at the head of a ladder to check for hot spots using the thermal image camera techniques she learnt on her recent BA course."
