"Children arrive happy and are greeted warmly by the welcoming staff" wrote the inspector.

"Strong" bonds are formed between staff and children as they "show genuine interest in the children and their families".

The nursery's staff have created an "ambitious curriculum for all children," based on their current skills, interests, and future learning needs.

The inspection report commended the measures taken to support children's education and behaviour.

In particular, the nursery's range of activities helps children understand the world around them.

The report highlighted that: "Children learn how to use all their senses to understand the properties of different materials and objects."

Inspectors found that staff at Willow Cottage Nursery created a productive learning environment characterized by respect and high expectations.

Consequently, children demonstrated especially positive and mature behaviours, indicating strong self-confidence, self-esteem, and an eagerness to learn.

The nursery's management team was acknowledged for its ongoing commitment to improving the centre.

The report said thy have provided opportunities for staff training and support, creating tangible benefits for the children.

The report said: "Training recently completed has helped the team to further support and monitor children's language and communication skills."

However, inspectors did notice an area for improvement.

They found that during group activities, while the more confident children would voice their ideas and knowledge, staff did not always consider how to encourage those quieter and less confident to express themselves.

As a suggestion for the nursery's further improvement, inspectors recommended that staff should "enhance opportunities for children who are less confident in speaking to talk and express themselves".

The relationships between the nursery and parents were well received in the report.

Inspectors noted that the partnership with parents was a real strength of the nursery, which offered regular updates on children's progress via an online app and verbal discussions.

The report said parents were "immensely impressed" and described staff as "highly professional and committed", and that children get the "best start in life".

Inspectors also acknowledged the measures taken by the nursery in safeguarding children.

They stated that there was "an open and positive culture around safeguarding that puts children's interests first".

The nursery also received a "Good" rating during their previous inspection.
