A business energy supplier is celebrating a successful start to 2024 following positive growth and expansion.

Previously having reached a 30,000 small to medium enterprises customer base, Bicester company Valda Energy has announced plans for the coming year, focusing on delivering high-quality customer service and nurturing its team's professional growth.

Valda's CEO, Steve James, said: "We accelerated our progress last year by strengthening our team and recruiting the right people who were a great fit for the business.

"Being service orientated means having a passionate and personable team in place who can thrive in their own careers and provide the very best advice and guidance for customers."

To allow for future growth, the energy supplier has recently invested in a larger office space.

The move aims to facilitate improved team collaboration and also seeks to foster a more positive workplace environment.

Operations director at Valda, Daljeet Kaur, said: "Over the last two years, as we have challenged the SME supplier market, we have grown to become a reliable and viable alternative to the current crop of suppliers – as evidenced by our increasing numbers of new customers."

Mr James added: “Being an SME ourselves, we know and understand businesses pain points and importantly how to navigate challenges. We want our customers to have certainty from day one of their association with Valda Energy and we consider our tariffs to be the foundation for the relationship they will have with us going forward.”
