A village primary school remains partially closed today after shutting last week due to a boiler failure
Five Acres Primary School in Ambrosden, a village near Bicester, was first partially shut on Thursday (January 11) after a double boiler failure.
The school had hoped to fully reopen today (January) but reception and key stage one remain closed due to the issue.
Nursery and key stage two remain open, the council’s website said.

Headteacher, Darrell Wood told parents on Friday (January 12) engineers were due to fix the boilers over the weekend.
He said: "I am well aware of the inconvenience this will cause, but our priority is always the safety and welfare of pupils.
"We have looked at other options for heating the rooms and water, none of which are viable."
