WHEN Oxford United fan Kevin Broe decided to create a rap for the U's trip to Wembley he never imagined his music video would go viral.

More than 6,000 views later, the taxi driver said he could not believe the reaction to his song, which he hopes will spur on his team to cup final glory this Sunday.

The 39-year-old, who lives in Buscot Drive in Abingdon, said he came up with the rap while he was on his DJ decks, which he plays as a hobby.

Known as DJ Kevlar, he has named his rap "Come rap, come rhyme, come follow me, we're Oxford United, we're going to Wembley".

He added: "I never thought it would get this sort of response. I'm not a serious DJ or anything. I just love that type of music and I thought I would do a song for the trip to Wembley.

"It's crazy how well it's been doing online. I never expected it. I've just started doing a bit of DJ stuff and mixing, but I'm passionate about music.

"Oxford is my team. I have supported them all my life. I'm going to Wembley with my nephew and it should be great, I went the last time for the play-off final."

Mr Broe, who has an artificial leg, said he had considered spending more time creating different music in his spare time, taking in other favourite genres of his such as techno, rave and drum and bass.

He said: "People are asking me to sing it at Wembley, but I'm getting nervous.

"The video I posted online was the first take I did, I have made a couple of changes to the lyrics since."
