CHILDREN went cardboard crazy at the weekend attending a free creative workshop in Bicester.
Youngsters were invited to delve into the world of construction on Saturday to build their own cardboard city at the Small Worlds Tall Tales workshop.
Mum Lisa Henton-Mitchell, from Glory Farm in Bicester, took along her two children Elliot, nine, and Jorja, six.
She said: “They really loved it. They made a castle and then animated it with characters. We were there a few hours. I joined in as well as they needed help cutting out cardboard.
“They really loved the animation at the end where they do a little movie. We got the iPad out and moved the characters a tiny bit each time, to make a 20-second video. Then they did the voiceovers.
She joked: “Their movie was about a princess who was shot and killed. The animation really brought it to life.”
The workshop was held at The Studio in Crown Walk and taught children about construction and design. It was run by the Bicester-based OYAP Trust, a charity supporting young adults throughout Oxfordshire.
