A PRESENTATION evening was a roaring success as Kidderminster and District Lions Club handed out cash to good causes.
The event, at Kidderminster Cricket Club on Chester Road, saw Lions president Ron Cross donate money totalling £2,500 to those that helped with the Father Christmas float and the New Years’ Day Duck Race.
Beneficiaries included Stourport Cricket Club, Kidderminster Cricket Club, Phoenix Ladies Football Club, Pearl of Africa Group, MS Society, Samurai Judo Club, Wilden Village Football Club, Girl Guides, Severn Area Rescue Association and the Wyre Forest Canoe Club.
Mr Cross said: “It was a lovely event, a very nice evening. We invited representatives from each organisation to join us.
“Everyone had a great time.”
