Family pays tribute to two-year-old girl who died in accident
The family of a two-year-old girl killed in an accident with a reversing car has paid tribute to her this afternoon.
Ellie-May Doran died on Saturday afternoon shortly after the collision at Oaks View Park in Upper Arncott, near Bicester.
In a statement released today, her family said: "Ellie-May used to love cups of tea and there was a little saying her mum used to sing to her every time she picked her up – 'Ellie-May every day drinking tea'.
"She was tiny and had blonde ringlets like Shirley Temple and her eyes were so blue like the sky.
"She was so small but loved an argument – she loved to disagree.
“She was so loved and is missed – she was cherished by everyone.
"Her memory will never die and we will never forget her. She is now in Heaven with her uncle Michael.
"We would like to thank the people in the community for their support and understanding while our family are visiting."
Ellie leaves her mother Sarah-Jane, her father Milo, her brother five-year-old Patrick, and a sister, Bridget-Marie, aged three.
A 49-year-old man from Upper Arncott was arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless driving following the incident and has been released on bail until March 31.
