Oxford & Bletchingdon Nondescripts thrashed title rivals Long Marston by eight wickets to go top of Division 3 for the first time this season.

Marston's decision to bat first looked misguided when Sanjay Vinjimoor (4-25 from 14 overs) and Mark Strong (3-16 from 11) rolled them over for 93.

Matthew Baggs (33no) then wasted no time in reply as Nondies raced to victory in 12.4 overs.

Oxford & Bletchingdon Nondies 30pts, Long Marston 5.

Rob Lovick crawled to 50 and then raced to 100 before falling for 116 in Hanborough's draw with Sandford St Martin.

Lovick, out first ball the week before, was unusually subdued in reaching his half-century from 107 balls, but was back to his hard-hitting best in scoring the second 50 from just 23 deliveries.

In a match reduced to 49 overs a side by lunchtime rain, the visitors' 214-6 was always likely to be enough, but Sandford managed to avoid defeat on 133-8.

Sandford St Martin 11, Hanborough 17.

Neil Fox hit 90 and captain Pete Claridge 40 in Witney Mills' 178-9 from 49 overs at Cumnor 2nd.

Alan Cox took 3-61, but rain brought an early close.

Cumnor 2nd 10, Witney Mills 10.

Abbas Sheeraz had taken 3-8 from his first 12 balls for Dinton 2nd, but was denied the chance of making further inroads into Chearsley's batting line-up by rain.

Put into bat, Dinton had struggled against Adam Warr (4-37) and had to settle for 153-9, but that looked like being enough as the home side were reduced to 14-3 before the weather had the final say.

Chearsley 10, Dinton 2nd 10.

No play was possible in the game between Kimble and Cropredy.
