Jimmy Phillips smashed 127 not out as Challow & Childrey thrashed Tiddington by eight wickets to stay top of Division 2.

Despite losing the toss the visitors had started the match well enough, finishing on 245 all out as Phillips took 3-81.

But their total proved woefully inadequate as Phillips and Rob Owen (76no) took Challow to victory inside 42 overs.

Abingdon Vale's inconsistent season continued as they slumped to a two-wicket defeat at home to Milton Keynes Park, who have also been blowing hot and cold.

Dan King hit 40 in Vale's 183-9, which might have been higher had Mark Roberts (5-42) not excelled.

Medium pacer Ben Humpage (4-50) and left-arm spinner Paul White (4-55) then gave Vale a sniff of victory, but James Ward's 58 and James Clark's unbeaten 45 saw Park home.
