A devastating spell which saw Dave Heritage take four wickets in ten balls reduced Stanton St John Willows from 80-1 to 85-6 at home to Horspath 2nd in Division 6.

Heritage finished with figures of 6-23 from 13.3 overs as Willows were eventually bowled out for 145.

Mohson Rana then hit 41 as the visitors cruised to 146-5 from 41.1 overs.

An unbroken second-wicket partnership between Lee Ainsworth (66no) and James Barrett (73no) helped Wallingford clinch a nine-wicket home win over Bledlow Village 2nd.

Earlier Ali Damirchi had taken 6-31 as Bledlow were dismissed for 157, in which Trac Walker hit 49 and Ben Moore 44.

Steve Beard hit 86 and Dan West 69 as Thame Town 2nd scored 219-8 from their 52 overs at Bourton Vale 2nd.

Andrew Cartlidge took 4-77 for Vale then watched Paul Berry (86) and James Collett (59) give his side a chance, but Ian McStay took 4-39 as the home side succumbed for 196.

Geoff Tombs hit eight sixes and eight fours in his 101 for Bledlow Ridge 2nd at home to Long Marston.

He added 140 for the third wicket with Robbie Carter, who hit a useful 54 as Ridge raced to 255 all out after choosing to bat first.

Brian Evans (61) and John Roberts (63) then secured a draw for the visitors, who closed on 192-5.

Ridge were deducted five points for failing to provide an umpire.
