We'ee at the halfway point of Cheltenham now as we enter day three and mark your card with seven races of selections

1.30: Turners Novices’ Chase

This is arguably the hottest novice chase of the meeting, however the vibes about MIGHTY POTTER are strong and the six-year-old will likely take some beating.

Gordon Elliott’s charge has the best form on offer and if his jumping holds up, could be a Gold Cup horse next year.

Stage Star oozed class when winning at this course in January and Appreciate It will relish the step up in trip.

SELECTIONS

1 Mighty Potter

2 Appreciate It

3 Stage Star

2.10: Pertemps Network Final Handicap Hurdle

A wide open affair but a chance is taken on COLTOR, who will be big odds.

A good stayer on the flat, this will test his stamina but with a liking for soft ground and having outrun his big odds last time could cause a surprise.

Walking On Air has always been held in high regard and got his head in front last time, as did likely favourite Thanksforthehelp who was very impressive, but was raised 11lbs for victory at Chepstow.

Maxxum can also challenge.

SELECTIONS

1 Coltor

2 Walking On Air

3 Thanksforthehelp

4 Maxxum

2.50: Ryanair Chase

All eyes will be on SHISHKIN who bounced back to form in style last time out.

A repeat of that performance here will see him hard to beat.

Blue Lord did the opposite and underperformed last time, with Janidil the most likely to take advantage is Shishkin fails to fire.

Envoi Allen can fill third place.

SELECTIONS

1 Shiskin

2 Janidil

3 Envoi Allen

3.30: Paddy Power Stayers Hurdle

TEAHUPOO cruised to victory at Gowran Park last time when stepped up to three miles for the first time and is a worthy favourite.

Blazing Khal and Flooring Porter will be popular but have had interrupted preparations, while Paisley Park has each-way claims.

Home By The Lee won the Christmas Hurdle and is another with a live chance.

SELECTIONS

1 Teahupoo

2 Flooring Porter

3 Home By The Lee

4 Paisley Park

4.10: Magners Plate Handicap Chase

MIDNIGHT RIVER won here in January and has been kept fresh for this, and can land another success.

Marvel De Cerisy looks like he has more to offer and goes well on soft ground while So Scottish is on the upgrade and has strong form.

Datsalrightgino was well beaten by Stage Star and if that horse runs well in the opening race that form gets a boost.

SELECTIONS

1 Midnight River

2 Marvel De Cerisy

3 So Scottish

4 Datsalrightgino

4.50: Jack De Bromhead Mares' Novices Hurdle

LUCCIA is the class act and will take some beating if producing her top form.

Foxy Girl, trained by Henry De Bromhead, will be an emotional winner with the race named after the trainer’s son who died in a pony racing accident last year.

He has five runners, but this looks his strongest chance.

Lot Of Joy comes from the powerful Willie Mullins yard and will go close.

SELECTIONS

1 Luccia

2 Foxy Girl

3 Lot Of Joy

5.30: Fulke Walwyn Kim Muir Challenge Cup Handicap Chase

Another competitive affair with DUNBOYNE taken to come out on top for Gordon Elliott.

Beaten in a tight finish last time, he has plenty in his favour.

Stumptown is looking for a hat-trick of wins, while Fontaine Collonges will love the soft ground and Rapper will be staying on at the finish.

SELECTIONS

1 Dunboyne

2 Stumptown

3 Fontaine Collonges

4 Rapper
