CHINNOR have added two internationals to their squad ahead of the new season.

Fly-half Will Kelly and second row Pietro Turrisi have arrived at Kingsey Road ahead of the 2022/23 campaign.

Kelly, 25, was capped by Canada in 2019 and signs from Major League Rugby side Toronto Arrows.

Turrisi, an Italy Under 20 international, joins on loan from the Wasps Senior Academy.

Aged just 19, the lock stands at 6ft 7ins and weighs 120kg.

Chinnor director of rugby, Richard Thorpe, said: "I am delighted to welcome Will and Pietro to our group.

"Will strengthens our options at 10 and 12, and brings with him an impressive kicking game.

"Pietro continues our strong relationship with Wasps by joining us on loan for the season.

"He is an exciting young prospect who will strengthen our lineout and impose himself physically around the pitch.”

Chinnor travel to Carmarthen Quins tomorrow (2.30pm) for the first of three pre-season friendlies.

They start the National League 1 campaign at Darlington Mowden Park on September 3.
