An Oxfordshire archery group are having their first public open event since the Covid pandemic began.
Before all the lockdowns, Bicester Archers would hold an annual open event where they invited members of the public to come and try archery.
In 2018, the last event before lockdown, roughly 120 people showed up and the queues for shooting were huge.
Now, on Sunday, May 22 at 1pm, the club will be holding its first event since lockdown restrictions were withdrawn.
Jock Murray, Head Coach and founder at Bicester Archers said: “People come from all backgrounds. Everyone wants to have a go at archery. They say it looks fantastic and they want to try it.”
The event also coincides with Archery GB’s Start Archery Week.
