OXFORD United have missed out on both Sky Bet League One awards for December.
Goalkeeper Jack Stevens was in the running for the player of the month prize, while Karl Robinson was short-listed in the managers’ category.
It came after the U’s picked up 12 points from six games in December, keeping four clean sheets.
Karl Robinson: Oxford United goalkeeper change was my hardest decision in management
But the prizes went to Crewe Alexandra forward Owen Dale and Shrewsbury Town boss Steve Cotterill respectively.
It means the last United manager to win a monthly award remains Ramon Diaz, in January 2005.
Robinson was short-listed four times last season without picking up the prize, but United’s head coach will not lose any sleep over it.
He said: “It’s not about me, it never is.
“I take responsibility for the defeats, but the players deserve so much credit.
“It’s a bit embarrassing when there’s some people in our building who are bigger than me in the work ethic they put in.
“I can’t thank them enough and that’s allowed us to get on the pitch and win games of football.”
