LIANG Wenbo has been handed a tough first round at the World Snooker Championships.
The 33-year-old, who has moved to Boars Hill and trains at Oracle Pool & Snooker Club in Abingdon, will play second seed Neil Robertson.
Liang showed nerves of steel to come through a final-frame decider in qualifying, producing a 141 clearance to beat Fergal O'Brien 10-9.
The Chinese player's reward is a re-run of the 2015 UK Championship final, when Robertson - the world champion in 2010 - won 10-5 in York.
They are in a tough quarter of the draw, which also includes former winners Shaun Murphy and Mark Selby.
