CLUBS are able to operate bar and catering facilities from July 4 as part of the latest relaxation in coronavirus guidelines.

While courses were among the first sporting venues to reopen last month, clubhouses remained off limits apart from toilets.

But England Golf have now published updated advice in the wake of changes announced this week.

There are still risk assessments to follow, while temporary records of customers will need to be kept for 21 days to assist with NHS Track and Trace requests.

But it should open up extra revenue streams to the county’s golf clubs from next weekend.
