DEMAND for Oxford United's limited edition shirts has been high since they went on sale at the end of last week.
As a gesture of thanks for the work done during the coronavirus lockdown, the U's have added the Oxford Hospitals Charity logo on to their home shirt.
Priced at £50, all proceeds will go to the organisation - with thousands raised already.
All large and extra large shirts, which are individually numberered, have now been sold on United's online store.
Sumrith 'Tiger' Thanakarnjanasuth, United's chairman, told the club's website: "I am so proud of the way the club has helped the community in Oxfordshire - masks, phone calls, volunteering and so many activities which have just shown how close we are to the fans and what we mean to so many people in Oxford.
"We asked the NHS how we could help further and the best way to do that is to raise money for the Oxford Hospitals Charity so we will proudly add their name next to our badge and we hope fans like the idea as much as we do.”
