SNOOKER: Oracle A fought back to beat Littlemore C 4-1 as the Premier and Division 1 leaders clashed in the Oxford & District League Simonds Cup semi-finals.
Lewis Moss beat Neil Craycraft to get Littlemore off to a flyer, but heavy scoring and impressive break-building saw the top division side dominate the rest of the match.
Karl Walker won twice to see the visitors home, while Neil Craycraft compiled a huge 30 points in the fourth frame.
They face New Club in the final, who were 2-1 up against J’s Sports Bar A when their opponents conceded.
Meanwhile, J’s Sports Bar C beat Oracle F 4-2 to set up a Sherlock Cup final against J’s Sports Bar B, who ran out 4-0 winners over Thame C.
BILLIARDS: Ashton will play New Club in the final of the Atox Club following their 3-2 win over Littlemore RBL.
Rory MacIver beat Malcolm Bough in the fifth frame to secure an aggregrate triumph for his side.
New Club were 4-3 winners at Fieldside in a high-quality contest.
Alan Mander made the difference with a pair of victories.
