THE pressure will be off Oxford United for their Emirates FA Cup fourth round tie at Newcastle United – but that does not mean Karl Robinson’s side can relax.

The U’s will need to be at their best to spring a memorable shock.

They face a Newcastle side who are five games unbeaten and boast several internationals.

JONJO SHELVEY

The midfielder (below) does not have great memories of playing United in this competition.

In January 2016, he became embroiled in a row with one of the away fans after Swansea City lost 3-2 at the Kassam Stadium in the third round.

Just 12 months later he was an unused substitute as Newcastle were dispatched 3-0 by the U’s at the same ground.

Despite this, Shelvey has the talent to run a game and with five goals he is comfortably the Magpies’ top scorer this season.

JAMAAL LASCELLES

Newcastle's captain is a formidable opponent at centre back and made a welcome return from injury in the 4-1 Cup win over Rochdale earlier this month.

Still only 26, he has become a leader on and off the pitch and racked up his 150th appearance in black and white earlier this season.

MATTY LONGSTAFF

The academy graduate burst on to the scene with a winning goal against Manchester United in October and continues to impress.

Longstaff has become an increasingly integral cog in the Newcastle midfield, often playing alongside older brother Sean.

The 19-year-old scored against Rochdale in the last round and is another who could start tomorrow.
