RUTHERFORD enjoyed another comfortable win to extend their 100 per cent record in Division 1 of the Oxford & District League.
They beat Forum C 9-1, with Lewis Waddup and Matthew Davies returning clean sweeps, while Andrew Flint got Forum’s only success.
British Rail dropped a point further behind the table-toppers, despite beating Forum A 7-3, with Karl Bushell’s maximum in vain.
More full houses, this time from Forum B’s Pierre-Olivier Colard and Annabelle Baker, sealed a 9-1 triumph over Brookes.
In Division 2, Vikings A thrashed Forum E 10-0 to stay top, with second-placed RAL B having to settle for a 5-5 draw at Forum F.
Matt Isherwood won all three for Rutherford, but this was matched by two wins each for Forum’s David Moulton and Gabor Szepesi.
Meanwhile, Forum I are back on top of Division 3 following an 8-2 demolition of Holton B.
Mark Spragg and Alan Plater secured trebles.
