EDDIE Pepperell made a solid start to his campaign at the Turkish Airlines Open.
The golfer from Abingdon carded a two-under-par 70 to stay in the middle of the pack after the first round in Antalya.
Pepperell made a fantastic start, picking up shots on the par fives at the first and fourth holes.
But he was unable to make further gains, instead going on a run of ten successive pars.
That sequence ended with a dropped shot at the 15th, the only blemish on his card.
The damage was undone by another birdie two holes later.
