A PRICELESS 1-0 victory at Southend United last weekend saw Accrington Stanley end a winless run of four league games.

Veteran manager John Coleman has assembled a competitive squad on one of the smallest budgets in Sky Bet League One, with Oxford United facing a tough trip to the Crown Ground tomorrow.

JORDAN CLARK

The winger has been a reliable source of goals and assists since signing from Shrewsbury Town in 2016 and was a key part of Accrington’s promotion from Sky Bet League Two in 2017/18.

Clark was a constant menace as Stanley took six points from United last season, so the U’s should be aware of his threat.

SEAN MCCONVILLE

Another of Coleman’s most experienced lieutenants, McConville has racked up more than 200 appearances in just over four years at the club.

The 30-year-old can play on the left of midfield or in a more advanced role.

COLBY BISHOP

The 22-year-old jumped three divisions when he signed from National League North side Leamington in the summer, but he has looked the part so far.

Bishop is Stanley’s top scorer with four goals, including the winner at Southend.
