Bicester Triathlon Club Ladies at round three of the Central Cyclocross League Picture: Keith Perry
FRAN Whyte was the pick of the bunch for Bicester Triathlon Club as she led the way to finish second in round 3 of the Central Cyclocross League.
A healthy Bicester contingent took part in Saturday’s ladies race in Milton Keynes, which featured a record 161 starters.
Of the other Bicester members in the women’s race, Mary Winks was seventh and Carol Mathews tenth in their respective categories.
Kate Lowe and Cynthia Reader also finished in the top 20.
Martin Reader was 38th in the men’s Vet 50 category, with round four in Kettering on Saturday.
