BRADLEY Smith is hoping to maintain his push for glory in the MotoE World Cup this weekend.
The Oxfordshire rider lies second in the standings after two podium finishes.
Smith is on a mission to reduce the five-point deficit on championship leader Mike Di Meglio in a double-header at the San Marino Grand Prix in Misano today and tomorrow.
The ONE Energy Racing rider has fond memories of the circuit, having achieved his second podium of his MotoGP career there in 2015.
“I am very excited about Misano,” he said.
“We have to try to score the maximum amount of points in San Marino.
“We have already managed to take a second and third place this season, so it would be great to finish the weekend with at least one victory.
“It is a track that I like and at which I have already ridden during the summer in some tests with the MotoGP bike, so I feel prepared.”
