DAVID Leighfield retained his Officer's Cup crown with a dominant display at the county finals.
The West Witney player, who had beaten Adderbury's Mick Jelfs in the morning semi-finals, ran out a 21-14 winner over Carterton’s Tim Jupp.
Just one shot separated the duo after seven ends, before Leighfield surged clear to retain his title.
A thrilling Allison Cup final saw Ian Gilbert beat John Hurren, of Burford Town, 21-19.
The Banbury Central bowler surged 11-4 ahead and extended his advantage to 17-7.
However, Hurren hit back to make it 17-15 and went on to take the lead, only for Gilbert to snatch two shots which was enough to lift the title.
Banbury saw a second trophy return to the club when Nigel Galletly won the Longford Cup.
After racing into a 9-2 and 16-6 lead over Carterton’s Roger Thomas, Galletly eventually ran out a 21-15 victor.
