Carterton GC’s head coach Debra Courtenay-Crane received a special award at the Adults British Championships.
She was presented with the Pat English lifetime achievement trophy, recognising her 25 years of service, which has also included her hard work to secure funds for the club to move to a permanent gym.
Carterton members also excelled at the championships.
Among the star performers was Marge Scholes who was second on the floor in the 80-year-old category.
Colin Rigby (over 45) and Kate Dela (over 30) secured overall silver in their age groups.
