HARRY Oliver leads the standings of the Yarnton and District’s Summer League after finishing second in the fourth round.

He claimed three carp for 35lb 13oz at Clattercote Reservoir in tricky, gusty conditions.

No-one could get near Jamie Pancott, though.

He caught six carp on the bomb and pellet, plus a couple of silvers for a winning weight of 55.8.0.

Jacob Oliver was third with 34.6.0, which included a common carp at 21.2.0 to sit second in the standings behind his brother.

Kevin Jeacock came out on top in Beehive’s contest at Lower Court.

He caught 68.9.0 of carp and skimmers to corn and meat, ahead of Les Radford (49.0.0) and Tim Whitewood (28.5.0).

The last of four Anne Malone Memorial matches was won by Anne’s widower, Frank Malone, at Lodge Farm, Fritwell.

Tim Wray finished second, with £1,021 raised for Sobell House, taking the total from the event over the last 13 years to about £13,000.
