OXFORDSHIRE produced two strong performances to win their Unicorns T20 double-header with Shropshire.
Jonny Cater’s side triumphed by 70 runs in the first match at Magdalen College School, before claiming a six-wicket victory in the second.
It leaves Oxon in contention to win Group 2 after three wins from four games over the bank holiday weekend.
Will Sutcliffe (68), Tom Cosford (60) and Cater (30) shone as the hosts posted 190-3 after being asked to bat in the first match.
Shropshire were always struggling in reply and were dismissed for 120.
The visitors elected to bat first in the second match, posting 156-9, Joe Thomas taking 3-28.
Cater (61no) and Sutcliffe (46) then led the hosts to victory with an over to spare.
