No 8 Karl Crockford scored from the final play as Oxford beat Bletchley 15-14.

Crockford dived over to give his side an early lead, only for the hosts to hit back and lead 7-5 at the interval.

Tom Murton’s penalty kept Oxford in touch and although Bletchley scored again, Crockford’s try and Murton’s cool conversion sealed an exciting win.

Will Anns scored twice as Bicester beat Reading 41-17 in Southern Counties North.

Dave Aslett, Ollie Dawkins and Anns touched down in the opening period, Dan Walker converting all three as well as slotting over a penalty as the hosts led 24-7 at the break.

Wes Westerway’s try followed by a second Anns score looked to have wrapped up victory.

Reading hit back with two unconverted tries, but Bicester wrapped up victory when No 8 Jourdain Warner went over, Walker adding the extras.

Wallingford saw off Slough 40-17 thanks to Ian Jeffreys (2), Ed Searle, Lenford Eugene, Nathan Chapman and a penalty try, Jackson Sayce converting five.

Bottom side Littlemore lost 110-24 at High Wycombe.

Grove went down 24-19 at Devizes in a thrilling Southern Counties South clash.

Rory Gratwol gave the visitors a 5-0 half-time lead, but the game’s turning point came when Ben Nichol picked up a yellow card for a high tackle and Devizes scored 19 points in the time he was off the pitch.

Grove’s Steve Dixey was then red-carded along with an opponent for punching.

But Grove hit back and levelled at 19-19 thanks to Nichol’s score, converted by Connor Hull, and a penalty try with just three minutes remaining.

But from kick-off Devizes gained possession and scored the winning try in the corner.
